Services

There’s no shortage of agencies offering to sort out your website or get you to the top of Google. What’s less common is one that’s straightforward about what’s realistic, works with you directly, and doesn’t go quiet after the initial build.

We work with SMEs across the UK on the things that tend to make the most difference to how a business performs online — web design and development, search engine optimisation, paid advertising, and AI. Not every business needs all of them at once. It’s often better to focus on one or two things properly than spread a budget thinly across everything.

Web Design & Development

Most businesses need a website that works rather than one that wins awards. Fast loading, easy to use on a phone, set up so visitors can find what they’re looking for — that’s the baseline, and a lot of sites don’t meet it. Beyond that, it’s about making sure the site is doing something useful: generating enquiries, supporting sales, or at least not actively putting people off.

We build in WordPress. It’s the most widely used content management system in the world for a reason. It means you’re not locked in to a proprietary platform, you can update your own content, and any competent developer can work on it in future.

Search Engine Optimisation

SEO is slower than paid advertising and that puts some businesses off. It’s worth being honest about that — three to six months before meaningful movement is fairly common, sometimes longer in competitive sectors.

The reason businesses still invest in it is that once the rankings are there, the traffic doesn’t cost per click. That compounds quite considerably over time, particularly compared to channels where the moment you stop spending, the results stop too. We cover technical SEO, on-page work, content, and local search where it’s relevant.

Paid Search

Google Ads puts your business at the top of results for the terms you’re targeting, and you pay when someone clicks. When a campaign is set up and managed properly, those clicks come from people already looking for what you sell — which is a better starting point than most other forms of advertising.

It works well alongside SEO, particularly whilst organic rankings are still building. The two aren’t in competition with each other.

AI

AI tools are changing the way a lot of businesses work, but it can be genuinely difficult to separate what’s useful from the noise. Some tools are worth the time. Others look impressive and deliver very little once you’re actually using them day to day.

We help businesses get practical value from AI — mainly around content and automating repetitive tasks, though what that looks like varies quite a bit depending on the business. It doesn’t require a large upfront investment or a technical background to make a start with it.

If you’re not sure which of these areas is most relevant to where you are right now, that’s fine — most people start with a conversation rather than a fully formed brief. Get in touch and we’ll take an honest look at what’s likely to help most.
